Sikandar Raza, “the Zimbabwe allrounder” has joined Peshawar Zalmi’s squad as Peshawar most foreign players left PSL 2020 due to fear of coronavirus. Raza will be available for Peshawar Zalmi PSL semi-final against season-topper Multan Sultans, which is to be played in Lahore on Tuesday 17 March 2020.
Sikandar Raza’s arrival will strengthen a Peshawar Zalmi squad that has been hit particularly hard by the departure of foreign players due to the coronavirus pandemic. Zalmi lost five foreign players – Tom Banton, Carlos Brathwaite, Liam Dawson, Lewis Gregory, and Liam Livingstone – along with coach James Foster.
Abid Ali and Agha Salman have joined the Lahore Qalandars squad ahead of their semi-final against Karachi Kings, which is also set to be played on 17 March 2020. Both players slot into the silver category. The Lahore Qalandars were the only team not to lose any of their players to the coronavirus Pandemic.
